Special message types

Your phone can receive many kinds of messages, such as operator logos,
business cards, and ringing tones.

To open a received message, select

Menu

Messag.

Inbox

and the

desired message.

Operator logo

— To save the logo, select

Options

>

Save

. The operator

logo can now be seen in the standby mode instead of the network
operator’s own identification.

— To save the ringing tone to the gallery, select

Picture message

— To forward the picture message, select

Note: The picture message function can be used only if it is supported
by your network operator or service provider. Only compatible devices
that offer picture message features can receive and display picture
messages. The appearance of a message may vary depending on the
receiving device.

Configuration message

— You may receive a text message service

number, voice mailbox number, Internet access point settings, access
point login script settings, multimedia messaging settings,
synchronization settings, or e-mail settings from your network operator
or service provider in a configuration message. To save the settings,
select

Options

Save

.
